about 4 years ago – Fri, Aug 28, 2020 at 09:49:57 PM

Hello everyone! We have a quick update for you. The artbook for Sakura Sakura is currently being worked on and will be finished very soon!

Thank you for being so patient!

Physical goods in the works!
over 5 years ago – Mon, Jun 24, 2019 at 08:49:48 AM

Hey all!

It's been a while, as getting all the physical goods ready and sent to production takes some time, but we do want to share some info regarding those physical goods with you all.

The art book is still in the design stages, but it will be sent to print as soon as the design is complete, which we're hoping won't take too much longer.

All other physical goods are in production! Assuming all goes well, we'll have physical games and merch to ship out soon!

That's all for this update! We'll post another update once we have more news to share, which will hopefully be very soon!

Update on Physical Goods - Project Update #11
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Feb 04, 2019 at 08:54:21 PM

Once again, we would like to thank everyone who supported Sakura Sakura and made the project possible. As with Newton and the Apple Tree, there have been a several inquiries, so we'd like to update you on physical goods.

Update

If you backed Newton and the Apple Tree, this is going to seem familiar to you. The art book for Sakura Sakura is a large amount of the project. We're currently working on gathering materials for its production.

Once the art book has been properly compiled, all physical goods will be ordered, compiled, and shipped.

Upcoming Projects

When we first started as a company, there were several paths that we weren’t quite sure of. Since our first Kickstarter, we’ve quickly gained experience and have focused on how to properly get content developed in an efficient manner.

We currently have over four titles which are ready or near-ready for release within the next one to three months (providing approvals go flawlessly). Yotsunoha, Under One Wing, My Fair Princess, and an additional unannounced game. All of these games have been produced without the assistance of a Kickstarter (something we’re trying to significantly limit our use of).

While we are straying away from Kickstarter, in some cases they are necessary. Today we’ve released a Kickstarter for Irotoridori no Sekai, a Kickstarter based around an extremely popular title by Favorite. Many of you have been around since the start of Sol Press, and have witnessed first-hand how we’ve progressed from small nobodies to an established company publishing larger and larger titles on an almost monthly basis. These titles take form in not just visual novels, but light novels and manga as well. We humbly ask that if you would like to continue supporting us and our goals, to please consider supporting Favorite and us by backing Irotoridori no Sekai.

Release Date Announcement, Next Week! - Project Update #10
about 6 years ago – Tue, Nov 13, 2018 at 09:15:30 PM

Hey guys, exciting news! We’re finally ready to release Sakura Sakura, and it’s coming out in less than a week on November 19th! We apologize again for all the delays, and look forward to doing a project post mortem next month to share what we’ve learned from this experience.

*Due to how the completion timing of this worked out, we’ve decided to skip the backer only beta in favor of releasing the game to everyone as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but feel that this was the right direction to move in.

The End is in Sight! - Project Update #9
over 6 years ago – Tue, Aug 21, 2018 at 12:15:34 AM

Hello everybody! I apologize for the large delay between updates, but I’m delighted to finally be back with positive news. The upscaling efforts for Sakura Sakura have finally been completed! We owe a lot to Spudmantwo and Doddler, who have worked extremely hard over the past few months to get this done.

QA has now started, and we’re looking to wrap it up within two months. At the same time, we’ll be starting the Steam approval process, and be looking to get the exclusive beta we promised out to you as soon as possible.

I leave you with some pictures of the game in all its upscaled glory:
